About the Program and Its Importance

This four-hour, live, online course meets the mandatory Master Operator Training Requirements of s. NR 114.18 and is also a great continuing education option for those already licensed.  This class provides both Grade T details relating to disposal of septage at wastewater treatment plants as well as Grade L information for when septage is land applied for the reuse of nutrients. This class has been updated to include October, 2021 changes to chs. NR 113 and NR 114.

  • Overview of regulatory agencies relating to septage including EPA, DNR, counties, other local governments
  • Reporting requirements including DNR Annual Reports and county reporting
  • Enforcement relating to: EPA, DNR, counties, local governments, wastewater treatment facilities

Continuing Education Credits

This program has been approved for four (4) hours of Compliance Credit.  Operators will be asked to digitally “sign” in and out of the program and to respond periodically to instructor questions using a “chat” feature in the webinar program.  (Instructions will be provided during the program.)  No partial credits – you MIUST attend both sessions to receive credit.  Credits will be submitted to the WDNR no later than Friday, April 22.
